When their worm was left to burrow, they had but a few hundred metres to cross, and then double that to climb up by a predictable pathway. When Ahmina arrived at the top of the rock, she noticed something odd: there were a lighter and several thopters camouflaged in a small landing canyon, with Fremen guards posted. Clearly, the Fremen used no such equipment like orbital lighters, so this must have been captured. What was even weirder was that the Fremen seemed to be from different tribes, and looking at each other with suspicion.

Chani and Shishakli were also rather confused, so this must have occurred without their knowledge, whatever this was.

[Ahmina]

Ahmina's eyes observed the different crafts as well as everyone's reaction.

This is odd

''Those vessels...who brought them here?'' she asked the nearest fremen able to reply

"We captured them from the smugglers. They were foolish to come here. We came from below and overpowered them. A few died, the rest is held. The naibs debate what to do with them, and the gear. They can't agree." The man briefed Ahmina about the situation. His armband showed he was one of Saajid's. It looks like the 'guards' were assigned by some tribe parity.

Ahmina nodded as her eyes widened with furious conviction

''This is the will of Shai-Hulud'' she stated ''Were are the prisonners held?

"Rajifiri wants their water, Stilgar thinks they should be returned to Esmar with equipment, for a ransom. Others take sides and they can't agree. They are where the naibs want them. Smugglers said they had some deal with those offworlders Liet said we should help."

[Ahmina]

This confirmed it

"I would speak to them and confirm that...should it be true I will tell the council."

[Kannon]

This confirmed it

With that she aimed to find Stillgar
