Little is known about this feature to the Imperial cartographers other than it exists, and its basic metrics. Rising lonely to about two hundred metres above the sand, no storm has yet succeeded in breaking and burying it completely, though conditions there are quite severe. No human habitation has been reported there, and while spice is present in the sands around it, it is too far from developed mining centres and the largest and the smartest worms venture there with high frequency, making any effort to cultivate the spot prohibitively difficult.
