On her heels, two armed pursuers got out of the stairwell into the shopping area, making much havoc, keeping whoever present at a gunpoint!

Gene spent a few moments carving something into the floor that only someone trained in her skillset could read. Realizing someone would have to take the fall, it was better her who had some diplomatic cover than one of her sisters who didn't. After finishing, she began to raise her body up slowly from her hiding spot with her arms raised. Her motions quickly turned to signify where she was standing, bringing attention to it in a way only known to those who knew what to look for.

"I really don't know what's going on here..." She looked at the guards. "...Was minding my own business and all of a sudden you came in here, guns out. Just going to leave, if there is no problem with me."

If she is allowed to, she will will slowly make her way to the exit, making 4 steps before slamming her foot into something accidentally, then repeated the motion once more before exiting the building.

Heading down the access stairs to the top floor, Rey took up a position there, making zure she had everything ready; There was only one way out of the building besides theground floor, and that was the roof. Her squad should be on alert down thefe, those who weren't accompanying people from the Expedition at least, so she would post guard here. If her squad let a Harkonnen criminal get away on her watch, she'd likely never hear the end of it.

There was very little information to go on. The Harkonnens were chasing a woman, which almost guaranteed her innocence, but why? Did she come here in search of the audit delegates, or was it happenstance? If they were in a less conspicuous location, Dorian would rejoice at the opportunity to put down some rabid Harkonnen dogs, especially after what he had seen around Carthag, but here it may cause blowback on the audit. Dorian had already brought negative attention to himself and by proxy House Mutelli, he would have to tread carefully.

Stepping closer to the two Harkonnen, he gestures back to the shop he had exited, where he knew their prey was not, then made his way to the stairs to head up.

The cowled woman used the moment of Harkonnen inattention and focus on the stairs to remove the grate leading to the elevator shaft and slipped in. Had she read the message? How high would she make?

Dorian had hoped the man would be more thorough and take more time in investigating the shop. Hearing the words shouted from inside the shop, he feared he was going to get caught up in this whole mess when the sound of a metal grate distracted the Harkonnens. Taking advantage of the situation, Dorian slipped through the door into the stairwell and made his way up.

It was on the landing of the fourth floor that he realized his mistake... he had left his food back on the third floor outside the restaurant. The waitstaff had even told him it was the last order before they closed. He could only hope the food would still be there and in good shape after all this ruckus died down.

Hoping that her fellow Bene Gesserit got the message, Gene proceeded to make her way to the 4th floor, though at a much slower pace. She wasn't going to be able to contribute to any sort of meaningful combat, and the less she is seen here, the better.

Gene managed to use the stairwell quite unobtrusively, following the Harkonnen that had been rushing up, then slipped behind them with Bene Gesserit grace.

On the last floor, the lift opened and one soldier stood out of it, three more waiting for their turn inside. The holdup was of course related to the welcoming committee of Yasim and Reyyan already there.

"Make way!" The man said before he truly noticed that he had a Sardaukar there before him.

As head of the survey's guard, I'm making sure they don't get stolen. Don't tell me you've already lost this fugitive of yours..."

Her look was hard and uncompromising, as was typical of her really.

"We'll still post guards here as we keep searching the building." The one who stepped out next now said. He carried distinctions of a caid, one step above levenbrech - if they were in the same hierarchy. He gave Yasim a look. "Go back to sleep. No need for bystanders."

The Bene Gesserit fugitive had climbed up the elevator and quietly existed just below it, unebknownst to all already there [unless Discipline 3 to notice.] at the fateful 4th floor where her fellow had promised the ambush. One Harkonnen had decided to follow her into the shaft...

Heading up right behind her was Gene, ygoing up to the 4th floor Hopefully this plan would work.. Seeing Dorian along the way, she quickly moved to him, leaned into his ear and whispered what awaited them on the next floor before quickly moving into position with typical Bene Gesserit speed.

She quickly made herself known to those who were ready Dorian was not the target.
