With the coming of the audit to Arrakis being rather eventful, the new afternoon on the next day offers a a new opening for the mission. The general Arrakeen area has been pacified enough for them to proceed, though the thopter and one of the groundcars assigned to the expedition need one more day to be serviceable again.

The auditors have freedom in setting their agenda. Any thread they start outside the Residency and the Frigate can have the Event status, which means they may bring opportunities to secure Legitimate Suspicion, Conclusive Evidence, or otherwise gain some Game Momentum. The requirement is there are at least two player characters (supporting characters of the same player don't count) and Sardaukar presence in the thread is resolved (either accepted, or overcome with Communicate 3).

By the end of Day 1 they may already have got ideas about who are the stakeholders on Arrakis, even if the picture is not complete.
  • The Streets, The Sook or the Spaceport are places where they can seek interaction with the already met NPCs or seek new contacts. Transit back to the Spaceport can be arranged at the courtesy of Count Fenring, on one of his thopters, if needed.
  • The Outskirts is the right place if they want to investigate the aftermath of the explosion, manufacturing facilities, storehouses etc. Groundcar or Thopter is needed to get there.
  • The wider Imperial Basin is the area they can commit to a wider patrol within their allowed scope, perhaps finding a place worthy of investigating along the inner rim of the Shield Wall. A thopter is needed throughout.
In addition to that, the Fenrings are available at the Residency all times. If you are unsure where you can meet another introduced NPC, ask.

By the end of Day 2 a vote will have concluded whether to stay put in Arrakeen for another day or to move the Frigate to another region.

As a reminder, the first slot of the day is LA.
Because of high diurnal temperatures the timeslot distribution comes with a twist - time around noon is usually the resting time, and daily activity starts in Late Afternoon.

This leads to the following 10 time slots:

Late Afternoon [LA] - Opening Hours, Moderate Heat
Early Evening [EE] - Moderate Heat

Late Evening [LE] - Sunset
First Moon Rise [FMR]
Second Mon Rise [SMR]
First Moon Set [FMS]
Second Moon Set [SMS] - Hour of Assassins

Early Morning [EM] - Sunrise, Closing Hours, Moderate Heat
Late Morning [LM] - Rest (Zaha), Extreme Heat
Early Afternoon [EA] - Rest (Zaha), Extreme Heat

Each lasting roughly 135 standard minutes.
